INVINCIBLE is a reality series that follows the development and modification of a light attack jet aircraft with applications in the war on terror, border security, drug interdiction, and other special missions.  This program is quite unique in that, single and double leg amputee veterans can learn to fly and actually become qualified to support special mission operations. 

 

The program also follows the training of several wounded vets highlighting the unique and challenging flight training to qualify these pilots to obtain their pilot certificates.  It also explores their ability to conduct special missions supporting homeland security.  The program will also explore the social impact on the wounded vets and their family life during flight training.

 

Finally, the program will ride along on actual special missions flown by these aerial warriors as they perform border security, surveillance, and other missions around the world.  The program will reveal how proficient these wounded vets can become in flight operations, the potential for this type of special training, and opportunity for them to overcome their disabilities and return to functional, productive, and exciting lives.
